Wide Receiver Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 17

What can Amon-Ra St. Brown do for fantasy managers? Apparently plenty.

There are a ton of wide receiver picks I got right for this year. But I'm going to come clean for Week 17 fantasy wide receiver rankings and admit I really missed the boat on one guy.

I was not on the Amon-Ra St. Brown boat and boy am I on the dock now feeling stupid.

My rationale was sound. Here is what I said about him in my sophomore assessments back in August:

It’s not just that the Lions added Jameson Williams through the draft; it’s the timing of last season’s breakout. Tight end T.J. Hockenson went down with a season-ending injury in Week 13. Guess when St. Brown started racking up the numbers? Before Week 13, St. Brown had 352 receiving yards and zero TDs. That means he accrued 61.4 percent of his yards and all of his scores when Hockenson was sidelined. And Detroit also signed DJ Chark in free agency, adding even more competition for targets.

But honestly, how could I have predicted the Lions were going to trade away Hockenson early in the season to the Vikings, their division rivals? But they did and ARSB has gone on to have an incredible season.

ARSB has 96 catches already this season and should easily break the 100-catch barrier. He has already broken the 1,000-yard mark and also has six TDs this season. Against the suspect Chicago secondary this week, I think he has another huge game.

See below for some of the other WRs I like to excel in Week 17.
