Tom Brady, Mike Evans, James Conner Player Props, Picks and Bets for Week 16 Buccaneers vs. Cardinals

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers travel to Arizona where they should find plenty of success passing against the Cardinals' defense.

The matchup between the Cardinals and Buccaneers closes out the NFL action on Christmas. While the Cardinals will be forced to start third-string quarterback Trace McSorley, the Buccaneers are still clinging to their playoff hopes with a small lead in the NFC South. Tampa Bay is listed as a 7.5-point road favorite but for this article, we are focusing on the player props, specifically for Tom Brady, Mike Evans and James Conner.

Tom Brady Player Prop Prediction: Over/Under 257.5 yards

It’s no secret that Brady and the Buccaneers' offense have struggled this season. But with the NFC South title in their grasp, the expectation is Brady and company come out HOT on Sunday night. Brady has exceeded 257.5 passing yards in seven straight outings when coming off a loss. He’s also surpassed this total in six of his last eight games, including five of his last six when his squad is favored by a touchdown or more. This bodes well for any bettors looking to bank on Brady dissecting the Cardinals' secondary.

Tom Brady Prop Pick: OVER 257.5

Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans

Mike Evans Player Prop Prediction: Over/Under 49.5 yards

Another player to watch is Evans, who like the rest of his team, has struggled. But his total of just 49.5 is way too low and bettors should take advantage of the “buy-low” yardage total. He’s gone over this total in two of his last three games. When coming off a loss he’s gone over this mark in 11 of his last 12 games. Like his quarterback, Evans comes to play when the Bucs are favored by more than seven points. The Tampa Bay receiver has topped 49.5 yards in four of his last five games when his squad is favored by a touchdown or more.

Mike Evans Prop Pick: Over 49.5 yards

James Conner Player Prop Prediction: Over/Under 69.5 yards:

On the other side of the ball, the Cardinals will look to James Conner to lead their rushing attack, especially without not just Kyler Murray but also backup quarterback Colt McCoy. However, Conner has struggled in recent games against top-10 scoring defenses and has failed to exceed 69.5 rushing yards in nine of his 11 games in 2022. Tampa Bay’s defense has been stout against running backs. In fact, only three running backs (Christian McCaffrey, Nick Chubb, and D'Onta Foreman) have been able to rush for more than 69.5 yards against the Bucs all year.

James Conner Prop Pick: Under 69.5 yards.

Overall, this matchup looks like it could be a lopsided affair, with both the Bucs moving the ball with ease against the Cardinals' defense. Bank on Brady and Evans finding success through the air while Conner struggles on the ground for the Cardinals.
