Running Back Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 15

Raheem Blackshear could be one of those sneaky late-season pickups because of increased opportunities or touches.

So we've come to the part of the NFL season where things start to get a little nutty, as teams begin playing for next year and others rest their starters. And you can see it in the Week 15 fantasy running back rankings.

Take for example one of the more interesting backs this week, Raheem Blackshear. Blackshear wasn't even in the top 75 of the ECR (Expert Consensus Rankings) when I ranked him. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised to see him fail to crack that mark by the time this is published. Yet I have him in the top 60 this week.

Blackshear scored last week and the Panthers seem to trust him implicitly as a change-of-pace option to D'Onta Foreman. Or my guess is that Carolina has no intention of re-signing Foreman next year and is "kicking the tires" on Blackshear to see if he can be their primary back next year.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles have been very happy with Miles Sanders. But I think they will try and keep him fresh by giving him fewer carries down the stretch. And that means that someone like Boston Scott will see a lot more action. So yes, I have him inside the top 50 this week.

I have a few other random backs I like far more than the ECR. Find out who they are by checking out my rankings below.
