Quarterback Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 17
The legend continues! Brock Purdy and Mike White are making a mockery of the theory that you have to pick a quarterback early in a fantasy draft.
I have both of them in my top 20 this week, a combined 11 spots higher than the Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR). But I feel I am quite justified in doing so.
All Purdy has done is compile a 103.2 QB rating while throwing two touchdowns in each of his last four games. He has almost 1,000 passing yards in just four starts, not to mention a rushing TD as well. This week, he will be visiting Las Vegas, which is allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to QBs this season. He's a QB1 for sure this week.
White is probably not a QB1 this week, but I like his chances for another big game this week too. Expecting a 3-TD, 315-yard performance as he had against Chicago might be a little optimistic. However, I will point out that Seattle and Chicago are right next to one another when it comes to allowing fantasy points to QBs. Seattle is the 11th-most generous while Chicago is 10th. White is definitely startable in all 2-QB and SF leagues this week.
