Quarterback Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 13

Mike White has been a fantasy revelation, especially if you're a fan of really small sample sizes.

Yes, Mike White is just outside of QB1 range in the Week 13 fantasy quarterback rankings. No, that's not a typo.

A few of my fellow fantasy scribes and yours truly were discussing earlier this week who we would vote for as MVP. Many of the usual suspects like Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes were mentioned. But a few of us, including myself, only half-jokingly said White.

We all know he's not going to win. And he won't keep this pace up, but do you realize how good White has been this season? Not only is he undefeated, but he has a near-perfect 149.3 passer rating. That will happen of course when you complete over 78 percent of your passes for more than 300 yards per game with an immaculate 3:0 TD-to-INT ratio.

And remember, Mahomes and Hurts have the benefit of All-Pros like Travis Kelce and A.J. Brown. Who is White's best target – rookie Garrett Wilson perhaps? White also has little to no support in the running game. And the Jets are not exactly known for having a great offensive line either.

Yes, all of this is slightly tongue-in-cheek. But just slightly. Fantasy playoff contenders probably have far better options they are starting this week than White. But if you are in a pinch, White could be a very interesting choice.

He'll take on the Minnesota Vikings, who are allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to QBs this year. I'm also going to go out on a limb and say the Jets will be forced to pass to keep up with the Vikings. As I said before, that's not a typo.
