Quarterback Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 12

Josh Allen should be the top fantasy QB in part due to his Thanksgiving Day matchup against Detroit.

Josh Allen has struggled over the past few weeks. Whether it is the weather, the elbow injury, or just the grind of the season, if he can’t put up top-three fantasy numbers in Week 12, it may be time to take him out of the elite tier of quarterbacks. The Bills play in Detroit again (against the Lions this time) and this is likely the best matchup Allen has for the rest of the season. He has two touchdown passes in the past three games and has only one game with more than 220 yards since the Week 7 bye.

Fantasy managers of Justin Fields may need to look elsewhere for Week 12, however. He reportedly suffered a dislocated shoulder this past Sunday. It's his non-throwing arm, and he certainly doesn’t throw for a lot of yards (will the shoulder affect his running?), but his status is up in the air, and the future is more important than the present (i.e., this season) for Chicago. The Bears don’t play on Thanksgiving, so be sure to monitor his practice reports this week as it is possible he will come down to a game-time decision.
