NFL Week 12: Bank on These Three Best Bets for a Profitable Weekend

Two bets against the spread and one on the points total will help NFL bettors profit in Week 12.

Heading into Week 12 the underdogs are 89-69-6 against the spread while betting on the under has been the more profitable wager on points total (92-70-2). With three games already in the books for Week 12, bettors eyeing up the NFL action on Sunday have a bit of a smaller slate of games. But if you are a glass-half-full person, that should only help us narrow down the games with hyper-focus, which we've done here with our three best bets.

Bengals vs. Titans Best Bet

The Bengals travel to Tennessee to take on the Titans in a rematch of last year’s Divisional Playoff game. In that postseason matchup, Cincinnati pulled off the road upset, winning 19-16. But don’t expect that same result for this regular-season game. The Titans are one of the league's hottest teams, both straight up and against the spread. The AFC South leaders have won seven of their last eight games (SU) and are a perfect 8-0 (ATS) in that same stretch. Yet they are listed as 2.5-point home underdogs against the reigning AFC champions. Don’t let the hype of Bengals star receiver Ja’Marr Chase returning to action cloud your thinking, take the points and bet on the Titans.

Bet: Titans +2.5

Buccaneers vs. Browns Best Bet

Something seemed to click for the Buccaneers' offense the last time we saw them in action (Week 10 in London). Look for Tom Brady and company to come out firing now that they’ve had a week to rest. The Browns' defense has been a doormat for opposing offenses. Cleveland allows 26.9 points per game, that’s the third most in the NFL. The over has cashed in seven of the Browns' games this season including four of their five at home (with the one outlier being a push). Expect a points parade in Cleveland and bet on the over.

Bet: Over 42

Rams vs. Chiefs Best Bet

The Rams may be one of the worst reigning Super Bowl champions in NFL history. They’ve lost four straight and will be without starting quarterback Matthew Stafford as well as reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year Cooper Kupp. That doesn’t bode well for their matchup against the juggernauts of the NFL in Kansas City. The Chiefs have been on a tear, riding a four-game winning streak while boasting the NFL’s top-scoring offense. That said, 15.5 points is a lot to lay when two professional football teams meet but the Rams are 0-2-1 as away underdogs (ATS) and have scored 20 points or fewer in their last four games. On the other hand, the Chiefs have scored less than 27 just three times all season. Take a big breath and lay the points, this game will end up being the biggest blowout of the year.

Bet: Chiefs -15
