Kicker Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 12

Brett Maher should be owned in significantly more leagues.

Both Tyler Bass and Brett Maher had more than 20 fantasy points in Week 11. Let that sink in. Two kickers had more fantasy points than guys like Jonathan Taylor and Austin Ekeler. Both kickers are the top two scorers among kickers so far this season (joined by Justin Tucker). All three should continue to be solid kicking options in Week 12. Bass will be in the dome in Detroit (as this is the time to consider the weather for kickers… just look at the Jets/Patriots game in Week 11). Maher also will be kicking inside, in the climate-controlled comfort of AT&T Stadium.

Justin Tucker plays at Jacksonville, so the weather is likely not going to be as much of an issue for him either. Fantasy managers should look at their kicker, and if he has been struggling, drop him. Maher is available in nearly half of Yahoo leagues, and he is likely a much better option than many kickers that are more widely owned (Harrison Butker, as an example).
