Start 'em, Sit 'em Week 11: Devin Singletary and Other RB/WR Fantasy Advice
Heading into Week 11, fantasy managers need to really make sure they have their lineups set and ready to go. Week 12 is Thanksgiving week and then the playoffs will be here before we know it. Wins at this point are important, and putting up points is too. In most formats, total points is the tie-breaker when two teams have the same record. Therefore, try to make sure you are starting your best possible lineups. Keep checking the injury reports and the waiver wire. Now is the time to be vigilant!

START These RBs
David Montgomery, RB, Chicago Bears at Atlanta Falcons
Montgomery is now essentially the solo back for the Bears with Kahlil Herbert going on injured reserve. Montgomery will be competing for touches with Justin Fields, but at least Herbert is out of the picture. Montgomery hasn’t been putting up great numbers: 36 and 37 rushing yards in the past two weeks. The Bears face the Falcons in Week 11, and while Montgomery is certainly not an RB1, he is an RB2 with Herbert out.
Devin Singletary, RB, Buffalo Bills vs. Cleveland Browns
While Singletary did score two touchdowns in Week 10, that isn’t exactly what makes him a start in Week 11. Those were his first rushing touchdowns of the season (he did have a TD catch in Week 3). However, Josh Allen is still dealing with an elbow injury, which may continue to limit him (he didn’t have a rushing TD in Week 10 and committed a few turnovers). In addition, the weather for Week 11 is expected to be very snowy. Blizzard conditions do not bode well for quarterbacks, but they do for running backs. Start Singletary as an RB2.

SIT These RBs
Najee Harris, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Jaylen Warren is clearly the better back, and Harris tried to prove otherwise in Week 10. However, Warren still looked better, despite Harris’ 99 yards on 20 carries. He also is reportedly dealing with a knee injury, and while that may not be something that causes him to miss Week 11, it should be reason enough to sit him for fantasy purposes.
Darrell Henderson Jr., RB, Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans Saints
At this point, it is hard to trust anyone on the Rams' offense. With Cooper Kupp now on injured reserve, there is an opportunity for someone else to step up, but with the terrible offensive line, no one is a must-start. The running back situation is a mess. Henderson is flanked by Cam Akers and Kyren Williams, and none should be trusted as it is a gamble to see who has the most yards. Also, the RBs should look for stacked boxes without Kupp as an option, which doesn’t bode well for them.
START These WRs
Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers vs. Tennessee Titans (TNF)
Watson had a breakout game in Week 10, although his three touchdowns were on four receptions. However, those four receptions went for more than 100 yards. And it was still the best numbers he had put up in a game this season. He had eight targets, which is by far the most he's had. Romeo Dobbs is still out, and while it’s not clear if Randall Cobb will play or not, Watson will clearly have a bigger role. Start him as a WR2/3 but don't forget the Packers play on Thursday night.
Kadarius Toney, WR, Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers (SNF)
Toney stepped up in Week 10 in his second game with the Chiefs. He caught four passes for 57 yards and a touchdown. That game was his best all season, and that includes his time with the Giants. Playing with Patrick Mahomes can only help his stock, and Mecole Hardman may be out again this week while JuJu Smith-Schuster got a concussion last Sunday. Toney himself is dealing with a stomach issue of some kind, but he should be fine by the weekend. And even though the Chiefs face the Chargers (a team you run against!), Toney should be a WR3 this week.
SIT These WRs
Jakobi Meyers, WR, New England Patriots vs. New York Jets
Meyers has done much better with Bailey Zappe at quarterback instead of Mac Jones. However, Jones will be at the helm for Week 11, so this means that Meyers is not a great fantasy option. The Patriots are coming off a bye and face the Jets, which is always a tough matchup. He had five receptions for 42 yards in Week 9, and fantasy owners should expect a similar stat line in Week 11.
Michael Gallup, WR, Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings
It’s been a lost season for Gallup, who tore his ACL at the end of last season. He returned in Week 4 and has yet to have more than four receptions in a game. He hasn’t had more than 50 yards in a game and left Week 10 with a knee injury. For a player returning from a knee injury, that is concerning. While it seems that he avoided a serious injury, Gallup is just not involved enough in Dallas’ offense to be worth starting in fantasy.
