Defense/Special Teams Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 11
Of all my positional previews this week, the Week 11 fantasy football defense/special teams (DST) rankings might be the one best ignored.
My last couple of weekly DST rankings featured a team that shall we nicely say "disappointed." One was the Patriots versus the Bears, which kick-started Justin Fields' fantasy ascent and the other was the Bills, who got upset by the Jets that week.
So first off, I apologize for those. Secondly, it is with great reservation that I'd like to talk about my top DST this week, the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore is averaging nearly three sacks a game, nearly an interception, and a forced fumble a game, and allowing just 18 points per contest over their last three. So yeah, they're pretty good.
They also host the Panthers this weekend and have already been installed as a 12-point favorite. Some of that is the Ravens' offense, but it also is the lack of one for Carolina. The Panthers are averaging the third-fewest yards and under 21 points per game. So yeah, I think Baltimore deserves to be my top defense this week.
See below for the rest of my DST rankings.
