2022 Fantasy Football ADP: Quarterbacks
According to the latest Fantasy Football Average Draft Position data, 12 quarterbacks are being selected in the top 100, three of which (Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert) are coming off the board in the top 36 picks. In other words, fantasy football players are taking the Bills, Chiefs, and Chargers quarterback in the first three rounds of their draft!
In 2021, 10 quarterbacks averaged more than 20 fantasy points per game. Josh Allen led the way with 24.6 fantasy points, followed by Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (23.3), then some of the usual suspects like Tom Brady, Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers mixed in along with some newcomers like Joe Burrow and Jalen Hurts to round out the top 10.

Only two quarterbacks that scored in the top 10 last year are not in the top 10 for ADP at the position this season, Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford. Instead, Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson find themselves coming off the board before the Packer and Ram. Last season, injuries forced Jackson to miss five games, while Wilson missed three but both managed to finish as the No. 15- and No. 16-ranked passers.
ADP is a great way to gauge when to select players in your fantasy drafts. It’s fine to reach on players that you think can outperform their current ranking but using ADP as a guide will help structure your draft strategy.
